Once connected with HelloID, the HR data in Oracle’s solutions provide the perfect foundation of data to fully automate user account provisioning and identity management. HelloID provides an attribute mapper to sync with Oracle, linking identity data from the configured fields and variables. Oracle’s ERP, CRM, and other solutions act as a target for HelloID, supporting seamless automated provisioning and identity management.
Onboarding, Provisioning, & Ongoing Management
Following a connection with HelloID, your HR staff will continue to input and manage employee data within your source system. HelloID detects any new or changed information within Oracle’s HCM solution, which triggers the automated and configured provisioning processes for all of your connected resources. Users will be provisioned according to the roles and attributes synced to HelloID. Processes are automatic, consistent, and logged.
For new users entered into Oracle’s HCM, HelloID automatically provisions accounts, group memberships, and permissions. HelloID processes changes made to existing users in Oracle to ensure everything remains up-to-date. For any Oracle solutions connected as target systems, users will be set up with accounts as the provisioning processes are executed. Throughout the user’s employment, HelloID will update their IT resources as-needed and following every source system change, including the revocation of accounts and access that are no longer relevant to job responsibilities. When an employee departs, HR changes their status in Oracle, and HelloID automatically carries out all configured offboarding processes.
By leveraging Oracle’s source data for every employee an HelloID’s provisioning, automated attribute-based access control has never been as quick or easy.
Service Automation for User Self-Service
Outside of standard provisioning configurations, users may access HelloID’s Service Automation module to request access to additional resources from their dashboard. If approved by the associated “Product Owner,” HelloID processes all changes and provisioning needs.
With HelloID connected to Oracle’s HCM solution, “Product Owners” may be assigned based on their attributes synced from the HR system. Examples of these attributes would be position or contract data specifying whether the user is a department head, manager, or team leader.
